Plans and Coverage for Pawp Pet Insurance
Pawp provides only one level of membership for emergency vet visits, without options for customization or add-ons.
Pawp vets must first determine that the incident is an emergency in their digital clinic before pet parents can access their emergency funds. After you’ve been given permission to use your fund, you must visit a vet clinic within four hours.
The plan covers the following incidents and costs:
- Breathing problems
- Choking
- External or internal injuries that are severe
- Obstructions
- requiring diagnostic tests

Exclusions from Coverage
A Pawp membership does not cover expenses that are not directly related to an approved, life-threatening emergency. Pawp, however, covers pre-existing conditions during an emergency, whereas traditional pet insurance does not.
In addition to pre-existing conditions, the following items are excluded from coverage:
- Surgery planned in advance
- Costs associated with pregnancy or reproduction
- Postoperative care
- Deworming

I had an emergency with my dog Musky over the weekend. Where he was having a seizure. Anyways long story short, pawp made this very stress free for me. The gave me where to take my pet do. Issued my 3000.00 fund. And even paid the vet for me where after he was checked out the next day I didn’t have to pay a dime for the vet. If I didn’t have pawp idk what I’ve would of done for my dog. Thank you pawp for making this experience not so stressful on me.
Side note: my dog didn’t even use the full 3000.00 fund. They paid the vet 1480.75. And not a thing out of my pocket. Can’t thank pawp enough for this. Telling my family and friends that have pets to get you guys.

Was a bit disappointed with response to call was for me to call poison control WHO quickly stated for me to call the vet.
I handled the upset myself. I was terrifed my puppy needed help….i managed well using my old nuring skills….gave him an ounce of antiacid. …prayed . We both survived.
